The Gender Theory Agenda in Our Schools

The creators of the Safe Schools Program and Minus 18, want to impose gender ideology on our children by insisting that binary and heteronormative thinking is wrong and everybody must adopt new gender pronouns.

What does this mean?

Children are told that ‘Gender’ and ‘Sex’ are not the same. That Sex is “assigned” by a doctor at birth but Gender and sexuality are fluid concepts. So, if a boy, who is a biological male, identifies as a girl, he must be referred to as “she” or “her” or “they” or “ze” or “ey,” depending on the child’s preference. This idea extends to Transgender students who want to use facilities like bathrooms and change rooms that correspond to their preferred ‘Gender’ rather than biological ‘Sex.’ The Safe Schools document ‘Guide to supporting a student to affirm or transition gender identity at school’ says that regardless of whether pupils are male or female, they should be able to use “the toilets, changing rooms, showers and swimming facilities based on the student’s gender identity and the facilities they feel most comfortable with.”

Schools are becoming increasingly intolerant to students who have opposing views. Parents, are you okay with biological males sharing toilets and change rooms with your daughters at school? If your daughter says “no,” then she will be labelled “Transphobic” and directed to the School Counsellor for sensitivity training.

NSW Department of Education’s Legal Bulletin No.55 states that “If other students indicate discomfort with sharing single-sex facilities (toilets or change rooms for example) with a student who identifies as Transgender, this should be addressed through the school learning and support team.”

Do they really teach this in schools?

The Safe Schools resource ‘All of Us’ is used in high schools throughout Australia and tells children, some as young as 12, that “using the wrong pronoun that does not match a person’s gender identity is called misgendering.” (Pg. 32) On page 53 of the same resource, teachers are asked not to divide classes into a boys group and a girls group when doing activities as some students “may have a non-binary identity or feel pressured to join a group that does not match their gender.” Teachers are also told not to use gendered language like “girls” and “boys” and “ladies and gentlemen” so as not to alienate gender diverse students. Sydney’s Cheltenham Girls’ High School , a member of the Safe Schools Coalition, directed teachers to use “gender neutral” language when referring to students.

Where is this going?

Just a year after same-sex marriage was decided in the US Supreme Court, a transgender schoolteacher in Oregon won a $60,000 settlement from a school district after co-workers allegedly failed to address the teacher by the preferred pronoun “they.”

Canada has now passed a new law making it a criminal offence for you to refuse to call someone by their “chosen” gender pronoun.

Individuals living in New York City can choose from a minimum of 31 different gender identities, many of which allow them to fluctuate between some version or combination of male or female identities. Businesses that don’t accommodate an individual’s chosen gender identity risk incurring a $250,000 fine.

And in California, a first grader found themselves in the Principal’s office for accidentally ‘misgendering’ a biological 5 year old boy who self-identifies as a girl.  This followed the boy’s ‘in-class transition’ last year that left kindergarteners traumatised. According to LifeSite News: “There were several of the little girls that went to their parents and were crying and saying, ‘am I going to turn into a boy?’”

And a boy who hadn’t given “gender” a single thought before is now asking his mother if he can dress as a girl for school.”
